Viewed from the adjoining golf course, The Oberoi is a large, uncompromising city block. However, this conceals a harmonious internal blend of traditional and contemporary sophistication, an elegant and graceful hotel.
The Rooms and Suites, 287 in all, are arranged over 8 floors and have wonderful views either over the golf course or the 16th century Heritage Site of Himayums Tomb.
All guests are welcomed by charming doormen and the signature scent of lemongrass.Despite its grandeur, this City hotel is as opulent as its sisters. The furnishings are sumptuous throughout reflecting the ambience of each offering, from the portrait gallery landings to the International kitchens of the 4 superb restaurants.
The Oberoi is most definitely one The places to meet for Sunday brunch or post business cocktails and the buzz is quite magnetic.
The staff are impeccably trained and presented whilst unassuming.
For business travellers with a longer stay, the Oberoi offers a large swimming pool and loungers, over looked by a superb Banyan tree spa.
The Oberoi, Delhi is the King of luxury corporate hotels but perhaps less suitable for the boutique traveller

Lows |
- Luxury interiors with no expense spared.
- A superb selection of restaurants with authentic and award winning chefs.
- Opportunity to snap up some designer labels in the many in-hotel boutiques - Dior, Louis Vuitton, Bvlgari.
- Surprisingly good value deluxe room rates for an Oberoi.
|
- The room category prices tend to vary by floor and view so don’t be duped if that is not an important factor for you.
- The popular restaurants do attract a large number of non-residents but club membership does restrict the weekend bustle compared to other hotels.
