Whilst not a historic Palace, Jaypee is a subtle blend of the Mughal architecture and modern amenities. The exterior is a sea of red sandstone, typical of Rajasthan whilst the interior glistens with white marble. Located within 25 acres of landscaped gardens, tree-lined walkways and dancing fountains, there is no denying that this 350 room hotel is a huge hotel catering for corporate groups aswell as families.
The hotel management are very friendly and have developed a separate and discrete reception area for independent travellers seeking a more personal service and swift check-in/out.
The rooms are arranged in 3 blocks surrounding a courtyard garden, and the corridors are long and sprawling leading off to small boutiques, business bureaus and beauticians etc. There is no shortage of amenities and even the basement offers a mock leisure mall for children including a small cinema, bowls alley, disco and many indoor games. The large swimming pool lies within the well kept gardens.
Despite its size, the hotel can be quite calm and quiet, but in peak season the larger groups can be overwhelming and the dining rooms are buzzing.
