The bustling Candolim harbours a secret treasure. Nestling within a beautifully tended 5 acre tropical garden is a stunning, modern chic villa and 3 other individual cottages. Approached down a quiet, narrow lane imposing gates reveal a circular drive. The 5 bedroomed, two storey house is designed with a spacious sea - facing verandah offering both sunny and sheltered dining and lounging areas, everything needed for elegant outdoor living.
The lovely tropical gardens with coconut groves and cashew trees shading the 25m swimming pool lead through a private gate onto the 7km beach.
Within the ground floor of the main house is a lounge with tv., a plant filled atrium, large kitchen and two very spacious and beautifully appointed suites which each open onto private, marble courtyards. A wide sweeping staircase leads you to the upper floor where the landing area houses a library with comfy furniture before opening out onto a sea facing terrace. Bedrooms 3,4,and 5 are on this floor and all are air conditioned.
The 3 attractive, whitewashed casinhas are reached independently through a wrought iron gate. these can be rented seperately if the main villa occupants do not require them. They feature the traditional Portuguese / Goan terracotta tiled roofs and stone floors. The open plan interiors encompass sitting, dining and kitchen areas, open air bathrooms and two good sized bedrooms.
The owner generously displays his considerable private art collection throughout all the properties for his guests to share.

- Aside from the generous breakfast hamper delivered to start the day, the Casinhas are self catering, so you will have to venture to the popular tourist area for the supermarket or restaurants, which can be quite a contrast to the peace & serenity of the property
- Need to use mosquito repellent in the evening
- The property is popular and can be booked up 2-3 years in advance for Christmas and New Year
